Position Summary:
- We are seeking an intern that has a passion for finance and a desire to learn.
- In this position, you will use your skills to participate in all phases of the management consulting process while learning from experienced professionals. Reporting directly to the Strategic Finance Lead, you will be integral to the success of client engagements. This opportunity best fits passionate and dedicated students looking for transferable and applicable knowledge to jump-start their career.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed analysis and reporting from a financial, operational, and industry perspective.
- Working closely with senior team members to serve clients in developing and interpreting complex transactional and operational financial models.
- Interacting with senior team members on a daily basis in support of the firm’s activities, including project execution and client management.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic record, ideally in Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
- Previous financial modeling experience, including LBO, DCF, multiple valuation, and credit analysis.
- Exceptional technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability.
- A strong sense of ownership for assigned projects and tasks.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate the ability to work as self-starter.
- Perform with a great attention to detail and ability to execute accurately at a high level without excess supervision.
- Articulate communication skills – verbal, written, and presentational.
Time Commitment & Compensation:
- Minimum 12-15 hours per week
- Compensation will be market rate
