The Controller and Director of Accounting is responsible for all aspects of the accounting functions within the UNC System Office and reports to the Assistant Vice President for Business Affairs. This position works in close coordination with the Directors of Budget, Financial Reporting, and Purchasing to ensure efficient processes in an environment providing the appropriate internal controls. The Controller and Director of Accounting provides leadership, management, training and professional development for the accounting staff which is comprised of six team members, including a sponsored programs program specialist.
